i think u got it wrong, they didnt shoot him for stealing ps3(s), but because of the video game controller he was holding which they would have mistaken for a fire arm. remember the scene in CRASH ??? they are just trigger happy.

BTW - has anyone seen BLOODBATH AT LOKHANDWALA ??? in this film the ATS are shown to be trigger happy.
