Plz Suggest upgrade for budget.

Want this upgrade only for playing latest games.

My current PC config is

P4 1.7 Ghz
Intel 845 MOBO
XFX Gforce FX5200 128mb
1 GB RAM

Planning to upgrade the first 3 components for a budget of 25000/-

Ive figured out that 6600GT 256mb is the best card i can get in this budget.
Can i get it under Rs 10000/- Also provide the name of the manufacturer.
Is XFX good enuf?

Please suggest a CPU and MOBO for under Rs 15000/-.CPU preferably Intel and not having a history of heating issues or any other issue.
Please provide manufacturer name for MOBOs.

Is P4 3Ghz with 915 Mobo good ? Or is it going to the gallows in a short time ?

Well if u want 2 go for a gaming rig u shud give some thought to AMD.intel 3.0 has a prescott core which has heating issues.as for the graphics card u can get BIG 6600 GT under 10K.if u are adamant on Intel u preferably can go for intel 3.2 and intel 915G mobo.both will amount to around 15K.but u can go for AMD 3500+ and ASUS A8nE mobo.this combo will come to around 17K.if u cant shell xtra bucks go for AMD 3200+.

Anyway, here is one of the options.

AMD 3200+ Rs.7900
Asus A8N-E Rs.5600
Leadtek extreme edition 128MB/XFX 6600GT 256MB between Rs.9000 and Rs.12000 OR Powercolor X800GT/GTO. All are in the same price range. I feel the X800 series will be better investment due to it's 256-bit memory.

This should come within 25000.8)

the config others hav givin is preety decent but i m juz wonderin bout the ram u hav rite now i guess its 266 or may b 333mhz as u hav 845.so i'll suggest u to go for AMD64 3000+ (939) which is good enough,ASUS A8NE mobo,6600GT Leadtek,XFX,BIG,and 1GB DDR 400MHz ram kingston or transcend as it will make hell of a diff if u go for 400MHz ram of good brand.
Dont go for Intel P4 its all junk.
