Please help me decide!- Nexus One or Galaxy S?

I'll be visiting Mumbai this week, and will be buyin one of these phones, please help me choose the best, also plz suggest shop in Mumbai where I can get them at the cheapest rate.

Google N1-
Better body (IMO), Scratch ressistant (Teflon coating)
Track ball (I love it!)
Faster updates, and Froyo

Samsung Galaxy S
Better camera
Amazing Screen
Awesome CPU

But I dont like samsung's UI (touchwiz) and the phone looks kinda cheap with all plastic body and less wt.
also there is no flash, but it has front camera which N1 lacks..

I'm totally confused plz help...

The Galaxy S also has a scratch resistant screen. Also, since Nexus One has officially been discontinued by Google, I wouldn't count on the faster updates ;)

Galaxy S is getting froyo by the end of August. That's the phone you wanna buy :)

it's not completely discontinued. Google has stopped selling it throught it's USA stores. The phone will be available through retail partners in UK and through carriers for a while. But support will still be availalbe in those contries.
@OP : For fast updates, N1. For everything else, GS FTW!

Is it possible to get rid of that touchwiz interface frm Galaxy?
I'm skeptical abt buyin samsung coz of their bad reputation for smartphones they released earilier.. they are too lazy when it comes to software updates, and I don't like whole shiny body + chrome on edges, but I truly love it's hardware..

So is N1 dead? coz it was one of the best android phones uptill now..

looking at the updates on tech sites, N1 is going to die very very very soon. Given that you are not worried about support, why not check HTC Desire too? It has got loads and loads of custom ROMs and UIs without HTC Sense.

I wouldn't recommend N1 for fast updates anymore.. I think its gonna be scrapped totally very soon!

Yes, it is *very* easy to change the touchwiz UI on the galaxy s! I am running Launcher Pro, and you can check out the screenshots here: *www.thinkdigit.com/forum/mobile-monsters/129156-galaxy-s-thread.html#post1260183

Regarding reputation, yes, Samsung has been bad with updates. But they are making genuine efforts for the Galaxy S! I see a new beta firmware for this phone almost every week! So that means they *are* working on it.. Froyo will come by August / September. Also, since they are selling this phone in the millions, they *will* have to support it!

If it wud've looked better then galaxy S wud've been an easy choice.. the body is too shint for my taste and coz its all plastic it'll be fingure print magnet... how occasionally u clean ur phone..? ;)
and is it easy to root SGS? what cons u noticed so far...

@kalpik
The N1 will remain as Google's development phone, and will remain the first to get software updates. It will also continue to be sold to developers through their developer accounts. (It will still be available for the developers so that they can develop apps) Further, they are planning to sell it through various retail locations around the world, though nothing has been announced for the US as of yet.
