The system runs on a
-Via C7 1 ghz processor (chosen for its low power drain)
-512 MB RAM,
-40 GB 2.5" HDD
- Holux Sirfstar II GPS Bluetooth module
- M1 ATX DC-DC SMPS
- 7" Touchscreen LCD
- a USB 802.11 b/g module

what it does:
- GPS navigation
- over 25GB of music on-the-go
- Video playback
- Bluetooth Integration with phone (WHen I am in the car, all phone calls I receive get routed through the car's audio system automatically. when a call comes, The screen displays the phone number and a Accept/Reject button)
- Internet access through GPRS or wi-fi where available

oh, I missed out saying that the system runs a nlited version of XP with the explorer shell replaced
The system boots directly into an app called roadrunner

most of the info was obtained from mp3car.com
most of the parts were sourced locally in Chennai while the LCD was sourced from iride.in and the power supply unit was picked by me in the US

Thanks mate...
The system runs in my Opel Corsa and though I don't recollect the exact cost (I had completed this setup in May), it was somewhere between 22-25K
