I have a philips monitor 107E6
from past few days i have been encountering this that the screen starts to flicker at its own some times flickering is very less but sometimes it flickers at such rate that one cannot also see towards it
is this due to any power problem or any component inside my monitor like ics blasting(joke) please help

dude,the problem could be with
1)check the refresh rate u have set
2)Don't keep the speakers close to the moniter.
3)It could be problem with power
4)Maybe its in the last leg of its life.

Keeping a powerful UPS near a monitor also makes it flicker. Make sure your UPS (if you have one) is not near the monitor. And as phatratt already mentioned, keep the speakers away too.

i dont have speakers near monitor they are just one floor away my pc is on ground floor and speakers on first floor
i dont think power or ups is a problem cos ups has always been there and regarding power my dad is an electrical engineer by qualification

power fluctuation or u might have placed cell phone near monitor try to degauge it . my friends brand new 2 day old monitor has same problem cause of cell phone .
