Recently I purchased Samsung NP550P5C-S05IN, and I can tell You this one is Awesome machine.
Features : 3rd gen i7 3630QM
nVIDIA Geforce GT 650M (2GB)
8GB (1600 MHz RAM), 1 TB HDD
300nit LED backit-LCD (1600x900)
JBL speakers with sub-woofer
BLU-RAY Drive
Battery backup was told to be 3 Hours, on 80%(battery life extender mode) (on eco mode + samsung optimized mode) charged battery I am getting 3 n half to 4 Hours of back up continuously using Wi-fi(as file was downloading) and full time video(watching movie). (I can assure you it will give more then 4 and half hours of back up on 100%). Current consumption in this mode is usually around 9-12 watt. For High Performance mode usually current consumption is around 15-22 watt (disabling Eco mode).
JBL speakers are good, sound is very clear, high and is more then sufficient for a laptop + sub woofer is fun + They assured me that they will give full speakers replacement if the got damaged using VLC media player. (2 speakers are just above keyboard in jali(hindi word :p) type cover and sub woofer is at bottom).
TIP: When comparing Laptops Do compare the processor model no. Like mine is 3630QM (quad core).
Price: 61000/- ( just came to know, " what the hell there is no Rupee symbol on this keyboard " !!! + no capital letter indicator)
Now they are giving free wireless keyboard and mice, "what the hell" :shock:!!! and for 59000/-
I got free Samsung Bag+mouse(Desi Quantum)+ QUANTUM headphones+after fighting on mouse and headphones quality I convince them to add 8GB pen drive as complimentary gift.
Though Window 8 sucks sometimes.
