My friend sent me this file named "PDOXUSRS.NET", which he says keeps manifesting itself even though he deletes it. I opened it with notepad and it just had his name in it no batch coding or registry **** whatsoever. U guys tell me what type of file it is?;)

pdoxusrs.net is a file normally used by the Borland Database Engine (BDE) to store file and record locking information when a database is shared over a network.

If more than one user requires access to a database file then the engine must have a way of recording which file and record is being accessed so two people cannot change information at the same time and cause a conflict in the stored information.

All users of the database must have access to the same pdoxusers.net file.

You often find this file if a program has installed the BDE program on your computer. It (as far as I know) is harmless and should be left alone.
