Are there any PCI express LAN cards available in market ??
I want to buy a new LAN card and was thinking to buy PCIe card so that it can be used for long period as future boards will not have normal PCI slots. My motherboard is having both type of slots.

If PCIe LAN card is not available now , then can you please tell me when will thw cards based on PCIe will be available in market ??

I don't think they will ever be made & are available, the reason being Gigabit Ethernet is available onboard, so there is hardly any use of making a PCIe LAN card, when even a PCI Lan card will do

No there are PCIe ethernet cards available i have seen photograps of the stuff but the only thing is their availability in the local market needs to be checked.

Putting a gigabit lan card in a normal 32 bitpci slot is not a very wise thing as it will clog the entire bus so all good gigabit server lan cards from intel etc are 64bit 66MHz pci based. So if pcie gigabit lan cards are used then this problem of bus clog is solved.
