I don't want anything from you except good rep points and thanks, no space required.

Requirement:
Lower mainstream Gaming
Web surfing and word precessing
Photoshop and other 2D and some 3D graphics
Basic Multitaking

I am suggesting you the best thing you can get in your budget, 50k is not much, but here it goes:

Amd 64 3500 Venice : 5700

Asus A8N E: around 5500 or so

2 X 1GB DDR 400 Transcend (UCCC chips, if not available then Hynix D43 chips) : 7800 and up, upto 10k depending upon place and all

Seagate 300GB SATA II NCQ HDD : 4800

I will continue later.

1) As far as temp goes, Amd should be better.
2) I don't know a thing about that mobo, ask somebody else.
3) There can 2 Pentium Ds, 830 and 930. 830 is a big no. 930 is ok but then it comes for twice the price of Amd 64 3000 and won't be much better either, might in some games not even be as good atleast theoritically. Also your budget doesn't permit that cpu.

I am telling you buy a Amd and you will not regreat at the moment unless you can afford dual core + good graphic card, your budget will cut the graphic card and ruin your dream of playing.

see Akshay I dont want gaming related stuff.. i dont want to play games.. its optional thing, not only thing.

My work is photoshop and flash so i need such configuration that i can open big photoshop files easily.. i mean fast graphics rendering..

anyway lets forget intel... if you all guys say so...

Plz let me know.. Will AMD 64 will run winxp 32 version and all softwaers very well?

yes, Amd 64 will. As far as rendering goes, Intel will definitely be better, Intel D 930 should crush a Amd 64 3500 to its kness, but the thing is that Pentium D 930 comes much more expensive.

I suggest that you wait for Intel C2D, and decide whether to get Amd X2 or Intel C2D after price fall.

Anyway, if you want you can oc any Amd cpu, especially Venice, and Intel C2D should also be really overclockable with the right mobo and ram etc.

2 X 512mb DDR 400 Transcend (UCCC chips, if not available then Hynix D43 chips), corsair value select is not supported with this motherboard.

if you do photoshop and all then rather get 2 X 1gb
Geforce 7300GT, any graphic card you take will practically have no difference to your work,

even cpu won't help you by a dozen.
hdd: for graphics : as much as possible: depends on you

pm me for best possible config for requirement

if you are going to game then get atleast 2gb ram with 7600GT or higher (>10k).
recommended min: 7900GT around 17k+
recommended : 1900xt around 30k

all these are graphic cards]

i would say wait for intel c2d and fall in x2 prices to buy a good dual core

I feel you are absolutely wrong regarding Corsair Value Select Ram + A8N-E.
Till yesterday, I have been using A64 3000 and A8N-E with 2x 512MB Transcend Ram which was working perfectly. I wanted to upgrade to 2GB (2x1GB), but when today I went to my dealer, he had only 512 GB sticks of Transcend but he had heaps of blister packs of 1GB Simtronics and Corsair Value Select. He suggested Corsair though Simtronics was much cheaper. Remembering your post, I asked him whether it will work with A8N-E. He laughed loudly and said it will definitely and otherwise I can return it. I bought it returning the Transcends under buy back. After returning home and putting them into the DIMM slots, it is working fine. The only draw back is that the old Transcend had the timings of 2.5,3,3,8 and the new Corsair has 3,3,3,8.

That depends on how much money you have.

Forsa Geforce 7600GS Rs. 6700
Palit Geforce 7600GT Rs. 8900
Both are good buys depending on how much you can afford.

Try to get atleast the 7600GS, but if you have to stick to 5k, best you can do is 6600 which IMO isn't any good.
And yes, they will work on your mobo.

john_the_ultimate

No pain....No gain
So finally decided to go with INTEL, good.
Getting to the point, at minimum get a 6600gt since gaming is not ur main purpose. But if u can increase ur budget then I would suggest that u get a 7600gt.
By the way, congrats for the upgrade.
