Broken In
Dear Friends!!

I bought a new Intel Core 2 Quad Computer with PCI Express Graphic card 8400 GS with 512 [XFX].
Recently, i have started facing problem.
When I start my PC, everything works fine..
But as soon as i start working on my desktop.
The PC shuts down...:-(
But, when i switch it on again..A message is displayed that due to thermal heating the PC had shut down Press Enter for Continue....
When I press "Enter" Key........then the PC does not shutdown irrespective of how many hours it is Powered "ON".

Please suggest...

Thanks and Regards,

No pain....No gain
It's due to overheating of the cpu. If you can, reseat the heatsink with a fresh layer of thermal paste and do the usual cleaning or else take it to the vendor from who you bought, and they will do it.
Please use speedfan, everest, coretemp etc and tell us your component temps. like cpu, gfx, hdd, etc.

when u start ur computer u need to press F1 or Delete button as ur motherboard specified to enter in to the bios from where u can see the temperature . if u are unable to install any utility in windows to see the temperature. and also see the fan rotation (RPM) in ur bios. and follow the instruction given by john_the_ultimate
