After a Month is a long time. Better create the thread two weeks before the purchase. The components chosen by you are perfect, just couple of suggestion from my side:-
1. Get a single 4GB module and add another 4GB later.
2. Get Gigabyte HD 7750 1GB GDDR5 at 6.2K or MSI/Sapphire HD 6670 1 GB GDDR5 @ 5.1K
3. You need a good PSU, get FSP SAGA II or Corsair CX 430 V2 @ 2.2K
4. Phenom II processors are disappearing very quickly from the market. Better grab the processor as quickly as possible from the market.

Thetechfreak, Check the price of Graphics cards...Now MSI HD 6770 is available at 6.5K only, almost 1K cheaper than the Sapphire model and also comes with a great cooler. Better suggest that from now on.

Local PSU and a good company PSU: In other words, local PSUs like Frontech, Intex etc sucks as they are overrated, hardly delivers the quoted wattagae. The so called 400/450W PSUs are actually deliver 250W in most of the cases. Also they are much prone for damage to Voltage fluctuations or ripple.

Buddy, the config is good, just try to get the HD 7750 or 6770 @ 6.4K as I suggested before. At 1080P resolution, 6670 is not that much recommended.

^^Nothing like that buddy, this combo will work fine. BTW there's no Gigabyte board in this price range AFAIK.

Right off the assembly line
Of course not. PC is way better than laptop. On top of that, you can even upgrade the component whenever you want.
