PC behaves abnormly[VERY VERY]

My PC boots normaly but from flash screen of Win98, sometimes monitor goes blank and LED to amber,also no HDD activity and no response from keyboard. It happens occasionaly.Please suggest any solution.

give the entire system specs.

try disconnecting the hdd and then booting thru boot cd

yr pc is getting old

there could be many reasons

-> loose cable connections
-> dying battery
