Ans: Yes. Max 19"

Ans: Done a lot before. So not an issue!

It was some G2230 proccy! Which I doubt can handle the latest games like GTA V with HD4850?

BTW I already got GPU, Cabby & HDD. SO I guess the 20k budget is only for Proccy+Mobo+RAM+PSU+Monitor+DVD-RW+kb/Mouse. That is why I posted it in new thread!

I considered this, but budget is real tight and it is not for me. It is for my uncle! So can't increase and max can be 21k. Not a penny more. Please help me guys!

Bro then you need to Get Pentium G2230. Rig comes down to 20.5k
or
Don't get Dvd writer now,get it later. Get Zion/Evm 4gb ram @1.8k. Get other 18.5inch monitor from Lg or Acer usually comes around 5k

Now you can get i3 rig around 21.5k . Convince him about i3 atleast,pentium won't cut for new games

Ok. Monitor @ < 5k, used RAM for 1.5k will reduce another 2.4k or at max 3k. So will try to push him to get i3. Else have to go with G2230! BTW Will G2230 have performance similar to my C2E E7400?

There are certain games that will simply not run in a dual core processor without 4 threads like the G2230, for example Dragon age inquisition.. Im pretty sure more and more games will come with this restriction
you are better off purchasing atleast an i3 m8, even a sandy bridge i3 will be better than G2230 because of 4 threads

You can also have a look at BenQ VL2040AZ 19" Monitor @ ~ 5.7K. Otherwise there are some monitors at Flipkart for < 5K too, so you can go for a more powerful processor.

Already mentioned it before. There are hell a lot of 18.5" ones for less than 5k and I will get one of them!
