partition a used partition

I have 750 gb sata HDD . I have mistakly made c:\ 230 gb.
Now i have all softwares install with xp on c:, I want to make another partition of c: without formating c:.
please help

without formatting in XP is impossible but without formatting in Vista is possible.

My bios is not fully acpi bios complient.
so i cant install vista
my MB : intel DG31PR (2007)
core 2 duo 2.33 1333 fsb.
i gb ram.
750 gb hdd.

Try with partition magic...I think one can't create new partition from a partition being used..Though you can merge or resize any partition..*gigasmilies.googlepages.com/6.gif
