Guys this one's new to me!!

On my friend's PC, we formatted XP from C drive (FAT 32) using the bootable CD.

The booting part of setup went well, drive was formatted to NTFS and setup files were copied.

Problem started when setup restarted. It went to stage "Installing devices" and posed a blue screen saying
" Paged in nonpaged area".

After next restart same thing but error changed to
" IRQL_NOT_Ready" or something

We cant install Windows nor login, safe mode is not supported for setup !!

Anyone???

This is some thing related to memory flaws (i.e. hardware). BIOS
settings can contribute to these problems, so resetting hte BIOS to defaults
may help you. In some cases this can mean removing the battery and
jumpering the BIOS CLEAR jumpers. Note that if your system has SATA
drives, you may have extra settings necessary to permit the system to
properly boot. Removing all but the minumum amount of RAM can also help
isolate the problem.
