I have the following rig now and I want to get a new graphics card to play games. I have decided on ATI radeon HD 4670 card.

Here are the specs:

* Processor: Intel Pentium Dual CPU E2180 @ 2.0 Ghz
* Mobo: Intel g31 (single pci x16 slot)
* Ram: 2 gb DDR2
* SMPS: 300Watts

I want to overclock the cpu without frying it. pls share your inputs.

Pls dont suggest any mobo replacements. I have a tight budget of 5000 rs only.. (for the graphics card +smps+stock cooler)

buddy please don't start a new thread on the same topic when a 2nd thread is running.

if buying online, get HD4670 512Mb + FSP Saga II 350W. as both these items hard to find locally.

I would suggest you to get a HD5570 and FSP Saga II instead.

What's the model and manufacture of your mobo - you ma be safely able to OC the CPu upto as high as 2.8 Ghz with the stock cooler though it depends on many other things. It would be best if you can post your OC related queries on the OC list and discussion thread.
