outlook problem !!

Friends i know that its a noob Question but i cant figure it out
i am using the outlook Expressss for first time .I have got it connected to yahoo SMTP server.I do recieve the message from my yahoo id to it but i cant send any message.
So can any one tell me what is the exact the problem all about ??/

I get the error following when i test it:
cannot connect to outgoing SMTP server contact ISP provider

Configure your Outlook express account setting according to given link:
*help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/original/mailplus/pop/pop-08.html

Then it should be work correctly.
