Hey all,

I just ordered a Moto G 8GB module..

I couldn't wait for the 16 GB because i've been waiting till December and 20 days more is too much..

I wanted to ask a couple of questions as I need to use as less space as possible on the 8GB.

Q.1)

Can you install apps/run apps from a Pendrive with OTG?

e.g

Suppose I have Asphalt 8 on Moto G, is there anyway I can transfer it on the pendrive and then retransfer it back on the phone so I have a portable Asphalt 8?

Q.2)
What is a good OTG Cable to buy which is as small as possible, so that it doesn't look weird when I'm in the bus or somewhere in public using it..

Q.3)

Any tips on using this to maximum potential? As i'd like to install games and play apps.

Q.4)

I've heard on XDA that you should use fast Pendrives.. like their transfer speed should be good.

Any good quality pendrives? Which are suitable for very frequent transferring, etc.

1. No, you have to keep them in internal storage to use them
Just copy Asphalt 8 additional files found in "Android>>obb" folder to ur pen drive & copy it back to internal storage when you want to play

2. If you don't want to look weird, don't use OTG in public

3. Keep all apps & songs in internal memory. Use pen drive for storing movies & videos.

4. OTG is USB 2.0, so no USB 3.0 speeds(max speed ~10MBps)

Note: My friend used his Xperia U with OTG cable for a year
