guys,

i recently cleaned viruses (brontok) from one system with kaspersky brontok removal tool. when i restarted it isn't booting in normal nor in safe mode instead userlogon screen appears, when i try to logon it logs on me & then logs off.:mad:

wht sud i do??

plz help urgent...

It's XP Pro SP2
sorry, i forgot to mention da OS.
I inserted XPCD & repaired it but still won't work, problem is da same.

tried disconnecting mouse and logging in and out via keyboard ?
once my mouse started clicking non stop anything I passed it over...
had to do this to fix it

ok..if u r not able to log on in xp..
then try LINUX LIVE cd..just login there go to ur windows partition..delete kaspersky removal kit...dont delete just cut it out and paste somewhere else...so that u can backup if it doesnt work..then see ur windows folder if any of files look missing which are required at time of login...

nop it won't work. you have just misunderstand wht eye mean.
problem isn't with kaspersky's brontok removal tool, problem is from changes made by kaspersky's tool.
