Opera has released 9.61 version of their Opera browser. It has been noted by Opera as a recommended security upgrade. Download it from *www.opera.com/download/ and visit *www.opera.com/docs/changelogs/windows/961/ for viewing change logs for the Windows version.

I love opera but the problem is that for every miniscule update, you have to download the whole thing again and again. Also, they have quick release cycles. So everytime you must put bandwidth and time. I hate that thing about Opera. Can't it just get the patch?

Thanks for the update.

I just love Opera.
I just hate the sites which are not designed keeping opera in mind.

I think MS has conditioned you guys to think only in terms of patches. With patches, in the end of the day, all proggies look like tramps with patched clothes... lol!

I for one hate patches and the mess they make on your HDD. Opera is a small probgram, and I hope they keep my fav browser patch free! The patch mess is ok for big proggies.

Thanks for your empathy.

Anyone got the joke here?

It would be better if Opera comes with a auto update feature which would update some small components just like an antivirus does.
