could somebody tell me if it is possible to update a previous version of open office.I hav an older ver which is 1.0.2 but i guess new ver have come. plz also let me know how to update.i will be using this for the first time. There is another prob. the reason am taking so much pain to use open office is because i lost my off 2000 cd serial key. i just formatted by hdd,i cant find the key..Is there any way to find the original cd key. i have tried keys from warez sites, but they dont work at all. is there any other way...plz do suggest...

is to download and install the new version. Its safer that way. And you don't even need to download!! Its available all around you. If you get any one of Digit, Chip, PCQ, etc, then you will find it on their CD/DVD.
