Online Gaming help!!

I recently bought PES 2013 but when i play this online, i get a lot of lag. I earlier bought COD 4: MW around three years back and got pings in the range of 250-300. Is this common practice in India or am I doing something wrong because i really want to play my games online? I have a BSNL 1mbps connection.

250-300 thats great (For US Servers) I get over 350.

Bro, even with 140 ms pings in DOTA 2 i get lags. I think this sh*tty BSNL gives only 64kbps upload speed even though download speed may be 8mbps

If you are using BSNL ADSL internet connection, you are bound to get lags. Switch to fiber if you want less lag.
