    It seems like Windows XP is actually being looked at as an operating system for cell phones now. We have previously featured ITG’s xpPhone, which claims to run Microsoft’s operating system with a custom UI. Now, ViewSonic might be opting for the same to make its entry into the mobile phone market.

    I can see why Viewsonic may want to make the screen for cell phones but not the whole phone as this, I would think, would go against their core business model.

    ^^ Viewsonic is making the whole phone but not only the screen :p

    Sure they will use parts from other manufacturers but all phone companies do that as nokia uses ARM cpu but the phone is called a nokia pone regardless of waht kind of components lay inside so it will be viewsonic phone :p
