no user name

i am using winxp pro.my logon screen has no user name.can't boot into safe mode.please help me.

did u create a user account for urself or not ?? and try using f8 during the boot process (after p.o.s.t) to boot into safe mode.

u will not get a logon screen if u r runnin on the default admin a/c

try creatin a new a/c and check
