Asus Z68 V Pro doesn't have any PS/2 connector.

How much will this affect installing OS, will the keyboard be recognized ? Anyone have any experience with this ?

Ya you have two options:

1. either buy USB keyboard

or

2. Buy MS Keyboard combo 500 (Which comes with FREE PS/2 to USB converter)

While converter will work but that will still be a USB interface unless. I was curious as to whether the keyboard will be recognized in commanline (grub, and during troubleshooting in CLI/DOS like environment)

We were resetting password of 2 Ubuntu PCs by pressing shift while booting and getting in to command shell. The PCs were having USB keyboard and mouse. No problems there. Just ensure your BIOS is set up accordingly.
