Nowadays there is no good budget B350 mobo in market, all I see is Asus B350M-A & similarly priced MSI model priced at ~7.3k.In 6-7k range again there are only 2 B350 models, one from asus & one from msi, both having 4 sata ports. If one wants a B350 mobo with 6 sata ports then no choice below 7k which I find strange because a few months ago I remember seeing many B350 models with 6 sata ports in 6-7k range from gigabyte, msi & asrock. The reason I am considering good B350 mobo as one having at least 6 sata ports is because using a M2 sata ssd disables 1 sata port while using a M2 NVMe ssd disables 2 sata ports in many mobos(asus mobos don't disable but instead share bandwidth but then again it is not recommended to put a OS drive on a shared bandwidth sata port & most ssd are used as OS drive only). With increasing bandwidth & UL plans data storage requirements are only going to increase so it is a good option to have a couple of free sata ports in mobo for next 3-4 years of hdd/ssd upgrades.
What is the reason for this as there are enough models in lower end A320 & higher end X370 as well as higher price range B350 series?Any hopes for B350 mobos with 6 sata ports in 6-7k range in near future or has this gone the gfx card way with no chances of such mobos getting available again in this price range.
