Nexus 8, what can we expect?

So, the next Nexus in all probabilities will be an 8/8.3-inch tablet. I am guessing/hoping so.

Apart from the screen-size, should Google stick to its winning formula of offering fairly potent core hardware packed in an understated and elegant, yet rugged and rubberized casing?

Or

Is there something more that you expect from the Nexus 8?

Something else in terms of...

1) Bio-metric sensors?
2) High quality camera?
3) Stylus input and optimization for hand writing recognition?
4) A big battery pack (at the cost of weight and thickness of the device), may be optional...
5) Waterproof tablet?

What do you guys expect from the Nexus 8?

I use my Kindle Paperwhite exclusively for reading and according to me, that is what a tablet is "meant to be for"
IMO, I still dont understand the purpose of tablets, whatever they can do, a laptop+smartphone combo can do it better and whatever they cant do a laptop+smartphone combo can do it better
but anyway, meh A nexus is still a nexus,
Id like to see Ubuntu on a tab tho :p

don't understand the need for an 8 inch tablet, when we have the nexus 7. a difference of one inch, wont make much of a difference. What we should expect is a nexus 10 2nd gen.
