Nexus 7 Wi-Fi Issues?? anyone??

Just got my NEXUS &... Yipee.... It is gorgeous.. but cant connect to my college wifi...?? Wifi is working fine on my laptop.. Is there something I need to do???

Yes. You need to start the Wifi from settings. And you need to enter the password for connecting.

Yes I did that..... It even shows connected, but still internet aint working.... And I am using the same network on my laptop as well

Ok, did some changes in the settings and it worked at last.. But still it is way slower than my laptop....... Is this normal???

Would be happy to know what "changes" you did.. for reference for the record. Some other fellow might also stumble across this thread with similar problems.
As for the speed is concerned, do a speed test from SpeedTest.net app. And post here.
