Right off the assembly line
I need to buy a new wireless router with a budget of around 7k. I looked around on flipkart and DLink is offering a 802.11ac draft 2 router for just 4k. Albeit it has only one internal antenna. Lynksys was on the other end of the price chart with exobitatntly high prices.
Is there any advantage of buying a linksys router?
Anyway,
I want a router with ....
1. Very good range..!
2. Minimum 4 lan ports.
I'm not keen on having the latest and greatest standards. Anything above G is acceptable.
My house is made of clay bricks unlike most which use hollow concrete blocks. Because of this WiFi has terrible range in my house. My current Dir-615 barely manages a signal outside the room it is in.
Will buying a router with 3 or more antennas help ?
