New tablet suggestion required

Hi,

I want to buy a tablet in the next few weeks, and am seriously divided. I was looking for one some time back and then decided that nothing warrants a buy right now. But due to some personal reasons i need to buy one right away.

Not finding any format to go by, i'll just put my thoughts point wise:

Size Preference : atleast 8 inches. (Always wanted big, but i understand the mobility constraints.)

OS preference : Android (may be Windows due to the win 10 undate, but iOS is last option)

Brand Preference : Preferably not something like iBall or Micromax.

Chipset Preference : Nvidia K1 > S801+ > Exynos 5+ (Is there any tablet with 805/810 or the Exynos 7 or X1?). Intel not really preferred but OK enough for me.

Typical Usage : TIME PASS LOL. I got OnePlus One, and MSI GT72. Still am a gamer, so games would be the main thing this tablet will be used for as of now. Will be used by different person later, so mostly media consumption. LTE optional. May come in handy later on.

Budget : Umm... Should be reasonable.. No boundaries as such. Must be a high performance tablet with Lollipop present/up-gradable in future.

Options in mind :
Nvidia sheild tablet (with free controller and cover)
Nexus 9
Xperia Z3 tablet Compact
Galaxy tab S 8.4
-All in 32 GB flavours.

Extra Notes : Should be available either in India or in USA. Reputable third party imports from China also acceptable.

Either get the Nexus 9(HTC) or Sony XPERIA Z3 Tablet compact if your budget and choice permits you.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.4 is not that bad,but the above 2 tablets are superior in every aspect.

Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has the best screen in the segment which is great for media consumption, but thats pretty much the only reason i am considering it.

Most reviewers rate the nvidia sheild over nexus for value for money. Also QHD media and 64 bit processes will take another hardware generation to fully get implemented. But nexus is the most future proof.

Xperia is just beautiful and also water proof.

I would pick up Nvidia sheild if just for me. But it will be used by my wife mostly after 6 months. So, debating about the other options.

Then go for the Samsung one.

dont get samsung , it has exynos,touchwiz,oversaturated display(unnatural colours) and poor build quality for that price
check out Mipad as well,it has tegra K1 and is for 13k
if you have the budget get Nexus 9 or Nvidia shield

Hmm yeah, my choice.. but i want to seek some opinion out. I am seriously lacking some geeky friends to discuss all this in my new job.

Both Nexus 32GB and Nvidia 32GB are within my budget.

MiPad is definitely a good option... but doesnt it remind you guys of Apple? Both hardware and software looks like Apple stuff (which i hate).

Another option i just thought of... Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9! How about this? I will be living in US for the time being and i already have Amazon Prime subscription. Its the only tab with Snapdragon 805 i think. Still no Tegra K1, but slightly better than the rest.

Yeah waterproofing is a big plus. And along that 8 inches is the sweetest spot for a tablet in my point of view.

Well sorry wrong info on my part.
My relatives went to buy it, and they couldn't find Nexus 9 anywhere offline.

So, against my better/worse judgement, they went ahead and bought the iPad Air 2 64 GB with LTE/3G... Damage 50K INR. !!!
