Hi

My Config:
Amd 3200 64 winchester
Asus A8N-E
2 X 512mb ddr 400 cl=2.5 corsair value select
160gb seagate sata ncq
Cabinet navtech with temp display
Antec SL450 with 25A on +12va line
XFX 128mb 6600gt pci-e
Benq CD-RW
Liteon DVD rom
Sony FDD
1 additional fan
Creative Sound Blaster Live 24bit
Samsung 793mb
Microsoft Keyboard and Mouse
Altec Lansing 251(45watts rms)
800microtek ups

Few Questions that I want to ask:

1)Corsair value select in dual ch , 2 X 512mb is not supported with my mobo ,my bios is 1001 and will the problems go if I upgrade to 1004/1005?

2)In my games RON(pirated) and sometimes atleast in POP:WW(demo) and Hitman : Contracts(demo) the computer hangs and the montior screen goes blank and there is a reapeating sound by speakers or something.

3)I had orignal win xp sp1 earlier now i have pirated win xp sp2 .

In NFSU2 I get artifacts/objects with aa.In IGI I get artifacts.

4)Now when I play UT2004 after exiting the game the computer sometimes atleast restarts.

5)How do I disable onboard ethernet?

6)Also,a single ram module is supported by my mobo as told by the user
guide but with that too the game ron hangs after some time.

Nothing is oced and temps are as folows:

hd-abt 40c +-
graphic card,46->70
cpu-abt 50 may be sometimes abt 56
mobo-same 50+- maybe

Pls help.

make sure u got the latest drivers n stuff....temp doesnt look too hot though
disable all onboard stuff u arent using....thatll save power ...go to BIOS setup to do that (onboard peripherals or sum cateogary)

The Hardware Labs
 Update all your drivers and BIOS.

 if u were using original win xp sp1 before y did u chuck it and get pirated sp2 ? u cud have upgraded it to sp2 since it was legal. anyways this has nothing to do with your problem.

 also try using some different ram on your computer and try using the card on another computer and playing the same games.

 Onboard ethernet can be disabled by the BIOS. go to something called Peripheral Configuration or Onboard devices Config and disable it from there.

 Consider getting another cooling fan for ur rig. Get two 120mm fans and place them one at front and one behind. the fron one should throw air in and the rear one shud act as an exhaust ie it shud throw air out.
