Ans:Will be used by father for online trading once in a while and for playing games on weekend like fifa 12 and games released till 2011

Ans:250GB or 500GB

Ans:No;the monitor resolution 1024x768

Ans:Would be buying from Kolkata

Ans:The only thing that I need is that the company should have a good ASS.
And for cabinet any 1-1.5k would do as I would not be using PC too much(only 1 in a week)

Overclocking will never happen in your dreams too in this budget !!!

Sainatarajan has given a pretty good configuration. vaibhav23, if you wanna overclock then AMD Phenom II X4 processors are your only choice.
You can get a Phenom II X4 955 @ 5.8K + Asus M5a88M @ 5.4K.

You like it or not, they are badly beaten by similarly price Pentium G620. No point of getting them when Sandybridge is available at the same price point.

At 20K , it is impossible to build a gaming rig with Overclocking facility .

I am not asking for a gaming rig and my sole purpose is not gaming.I would be playing older games that also on weekends and I don't even have a high resolution.
Would buying a AMD A8 3870K be fine as its cpu performs quite well on being overclocked(near to amd FX4100 & P2 975BE)

Then AMD Llano based solution will be best for you, but mind it, even Llano unlocked processors can't be overclocked like FX or B.E series Phenom II CPUs.

But for your needs i don't think much overclocking is necessary and Llano IGP can handle Fifa 12 easily.

Here is my suggestion:
AMD A6-3650K @ 6.45K
ECS A55F-M3 @ 3K
G-skill RipjawX 1600 MHz 4 GB DDR3 @ 1.55K
FSP SAGA II 350W @ 1.6K

Rest of the config will be same. But I still think a Pentium G620+HD 5670 GDDR5 combination is more bang for buck as none of the sub 5K AMD processors can beat it even when moderately overclocked, in gaming.

Is FSP Saga 350W available in Kolkata and could 6670/6570 be easily supported on it?
What is the cost 0f i3 2100?

Do not suggest that board to anyone, it's an outdated chipset. BTW you seriously think an Anthlon X2 260 + HD5670 will perform better than G620 + HD6670?

he wont be needing the chipset as he will buy the gpu..
yes..i suggested the 5670 1gb ddr5 and it will run pretty good with athlon x2 260..

6670 1gb ddr5 will cost him more..
