1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')

I would like to play all latest with max graphics, for the next 1-2 years. I would like to build custom ROMs for android too. Apart from this it will be used for photoshop, video encoding, and a bit of office 2013. Aloso I would use windows on ubuntu via virtual machine.
2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.

40-50k.
3. Planning to overclock?
Ans:
No now, in the future yes.
4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans:
Windows 7(or 8) 64bit, Ubuntu 12.04 64bit at the moment
5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans:
I already have an internal HDD.
6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.

No, I have a Dell ST2220l [FONT=tahoma, verdana, arial, sans-serif]1920 x 1080 resolution and a 21.5 inch display.[/FONT]
7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans:
I don't need monitor, keyboard, mouse, speakers, int HDD, or an optical drive.
8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans:
In a couple months or so.
9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
Ans:
Never built one before but will assemble it myself.
10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans:
Delhi, I will be buying it from flipkart.
11. Anything else which you would like to say?
Ans:
For building Android ROMs, I would require atleast 16Gb RAM(2 or 3 8Gb DDR3? Any difference b/w 4Gb and 8gb?).
Does a sound card make a lot of difference? If yes please recommend one too.
