New hdd 1tb

I am currently using wd 1-tb cavair green WDC WD10EARX-00PASB0 Model.

but i am not satisfied with it as my computer seems to be running very slow on it.

on indexing the primary hard disk is rated at 5.9 where everything else is rated above 7.5

so i am thinking of purchasing wd 1-tb cavair black from flipkart WD1002FAEX model WD 1 TB Desktop Internal Hard Drive (WD1002FAEX) - WD: Flipkart.com

will it speed up my pc.

@dost_friend59 no hdd is currently rated above 5.9 in wei and also wei is not a reliable benchmark you use something like this-

tell us after running this and then well decide

Also there is a high chance that your HDD has been fragmented heavily resulting poor performance. Use some tools to Defragment your HDD.

well i had just check defragmentation status of harddisk

it is ok.

my concern is the speed om my pc for the past 2 weeks.

it's running like a tortoise.

get a 120gb corsair force ssd 120gb and install the oc and other application that you run....its going in as 6k
