networking for shared internet connction??

i need to know how could i connect my notebook with wifi to an another notebook having wifi. Actually i have hathway internet connection on my notebook via lan and now i want to share this internet connection to another notebook using wifi? can somebody provide me solution for this

get a wireless router.Than you can share internet on all laptops.

An ad-hoc wireless network will do for the present. You may think of a Wireless router later when you have many computers. And perhaps by that time Wireless N router prices would have come down.Keep going with the ad-hoc for now. No expenses.
