Wats the difference between Straight and Crossover LAN wires ?

for sharing net between two PC's which wire is to be used ?

Hi buddy!
For connecting two pc directly, crossover wires are used.

u know with 2days PC (ON board) and LAN Cards, I noticed that even with a Stright pair cable, one can connect 2 PC directly :lol:

crossover cable,crossover cable a type network cable ,u can connect computing device 2gether directly via a network switch,hub or router.u can connect 2 computers via network adapter.

using direct cable only for connected 2 pc's is not possible i hav tried it:cool:

Test Hardware...

1. On board LAN P5N-E SLi
2. On board LAN IBM ThinkPAD (using P4 Processfor)

I tried with Stright cable normally which would be used with HUB or Switch !!! but Did easily detected each other !! :)

Few frnd of mine In networking too Verified it that now days stright cable did working with 2 PC LAN !!

Me my self didnt tried with cheap (Rs. 250 to 500) LAN Cards though !!!
