Nero 7 - Server Busy Error!!

My Nero 7 all of a sudden has started giving this weird error message box everytime I try to load the burner interface.
"Server busy, the action can not be completed because the other program is busy, Choose Switch to to activate the busy program and correct the error"

Available buttons are Switch & Retry (do not work) and Cancel is disabled!
uninstall-reinstall, restart, kill the process etc do not work!
Pl. help

remove it using 'your uninstaller' then reinstall

Try contacting them at Nero - Nero - Customer service and technical support
The same problem has been asked in 5-6 forums (Google search results) but nowhere did I get any positive response.

OS, its version, RAM etc....
