I'm looking to buy a cell phone and my budget is 13-15K.

Some things I'm looking for are decent looks, great music quality, good camera quality, decent video quality and a fast phone. I'd also like to mention that I'll be using the phone for browsing the Internet quite often, so I'd like it to have 3G (or better yet, HSDPA) and the ability to install a custom browser such as Opera Mini (you can do that on non-smartphone phones, can't you? Sorry if its a stupid question).

Currently I have Nokia 5320 XpressMusic which costs 10.5K in my mind. Any suggestions? :eek:

But if u are considering 5320 xm then u should go for n81 if u can afford..! But the camera performance is almost same...!

You can check the Sony Ericsson W910i @ 13.5K, or the Sony Ericsson K810i @ 11.5K, I would suggest you to get the Nokia N73 @ 11.5K but you want something fast which is a little problem in N73. Nokia N81 is also a good phone but the camera sucks. N73 has great 3.2Megapixel camera with flash that takes brilliant pictures / Music quality is good / Has 3G / 1100mAh battery / Although you cannot expand your memory more than 2GB. It's much better than any other phone at that price range.

N78 is really a sh!t dont go for it .

N81 is seriously a nice phone the"CAMERA" is the problem . N70 camera as been used in the N81 .

If G705 is available means go for it , or else the price is dropping for the motorola Zn5
the Zn5 is now 16k , when it comes to 15k take it (5MP & 2.4"inch TFT screen )

DUDE The phone u have mentioned "K810i" is only the good ,but K810i has same clarity of K790 also K810i is very old model

where else N73 -> Joystick issues , Hanging and many more ..........

W910i -> "only Music" is value , worst camera no flash the UI is very bad less features

Hi again guys,

I really liked SE G705 and Nokia N81. I called up a few stores here (Bangalore) but it seems G705 isn't available here yet. And I kinda didn't like the looks of the Motorola ZN5.

N81's features look really awesome -8GB memory, AGPS, Wifi (which is a huge plus point compared to my previous choice 5320) etc. Even if the camera isn't THAT good, it's still okay I guess... I almost decided to buy it, but now, after reading user reviews on fonearena and a couple of other sites (most of them being negative - phone hangs up a lot, if you store 6+GB phone hangs up and restarts a LOT, display problems etc.), I'm confused again.

If there's any N81 owner here, I'd really like to read his/her review.

And one more question... what's the difference between GPS and AGPS? The Nokia store guy didn't know the difference... he said they're the same. Any idea?

I'd vote for the G705 (a review was posted on GSMArena last night) or the T700, if style is a priority.

GPS is the receiver in the phone that receives location info from the satellites. AGPS is a service that downloads data over the cellular network to reduce the lock-on time. Disabling that will increase the time required to get a stable lock.

yes u right if u add like this in any featured rich phones will surely hang even the N82 hangs . the higher data storage is used with the PDA & the phones like "SONY XPERIA , N97 , Apple iphone "

See Motorola ZN5 has the good screen clarity & beautiful sound clarity than N82 & N85
only drawback of Zn5 is video is only @ 15FPS .
look the Zn5 straightly and say its stylish than N82 !

may b but adding 4gb card makes the phone laggy...!!!mainly in music player...!!!but work fine with 2 gb card

MOTOROLA zine zn5 doesn't have 3G :D

a bit offtopic- the best gps performing mobile below 20k is n78. It has external gps antenna on the battery back cover which gives faster and better gps locks than n82. Heard abt some software issues in n78, otherwise it would have been perfect for ur requirements.

Also i had pretty good hands on with moto zn5. Did not find it much stylish over n82, though its build quality is fantastic. It felt good but i will get n82 over it anyday..
