Need to buy NiMH batteries w/ charger

Hi!
excuse me if i'm starting this thread at a wrong place.
an uncle gifted me a Nikon Coolpix L10 (5MP) on b'day, and it's still lying idly under the desk. so thinking of just using it as a secondary cam now. i'm not familiar with NiMH batteries. can you guys suggest me some good rechargeable batteries brands, with charger? i'm gonna buy a set of 4 AA cells.
And also mention the price if ya know.

sanyo eneloop batteries are popular AFAIK. but no personal experience.
