Need Suggesion for Old Components

Hi guys,
Some one gave me 5 year old Intel Dual Core CPU+G41 Mobo+2GB DDR2 RAM.
Now I'm thinking to make this as HTPC or may be for Downloading & Browsing machine.
I already have an old iBall case(rust on some parts & got no fan,only a place for 120mm fan at rear) and a Zebronic PSU.
When I install 3 component with PSU in that case and run.
Saw temp at BIOS was 55°C and CPU fan speed was near 2,000RPM.
I don't want to spend too much on this.
What should I do ?

Sorry but is that a problem ?? 55c with intel stock cooler in moderate load is not a big deal, or is it ??

IMO try to clean the heatsink and anyother fan in the chassis and buy TIM paste ....
i think that should solve the problem...

What's the normal temp should be for Intel E4500 with stalk cooler ?
Is there any cheap TIM available ?
Average price 500/- not less.
I need tiny amount of paste only for one CPU.

Or,anyone want to sell his/her excess Thermal Paste & Paste Remover ?

do not know about liquid remover. But I knew they(thermal compound) come in 300 bucks. even 600 is little too much

Rs.600/- for 15 to 25 CPUs is good.
But,I can't so much for just one CPU.

I had got TIM for Rs 40 from a local retailer, and it is working fine.
Also 55C is absolutely perfect for that configuration.

You can try out the coller master thermal fusion 400 After unlocking my proccy it too ran at a high temperature. I applied the CM thermal fusion 400 and temps went down to 36-40. Nowadays with the new cabby, temps are 29 degrees on idle
