Phone's size doesn't matter. Some old 4.7-5" devices (LG and sony) are still better than 5.5" devices (samdung of course) being launched these days

Too be honest I was not too happy when she bought Note2 but I was like ok atleast I'm getting something if I argue I may get nothing.

She has used Windows, Android Based Phones so far.
But I think recently released Apple Phones are not that great.

I agree in a way,
Samsung,HTC,Apple,Xiaomi seem to be beating around the bush
releasing the same stuff with minor changes and forget to support the previous gen phones or if they do ,they will cripple performance so you are forced to change your phone unless you are good with custom roms/downgrading etc
I think its time for new blood in the market,the current companies arent good enough anymore

I can do with higher pricing but not with over pricing (E.g. Azom/Clevo laptops and MSI are both higher priced but MSI ones are way overpriced).
Both samsung and apple have done nothing but made loads of money by ripping people off. Samsung's price drops are a classic example. Apple still haven't discontinued 2-3 year older devices and still selling it. (4s for 20k
).OS is another reason why I don't like them. Touchwiz still looks ugly and won't be better than AOSP roms. Where as iOS is locked and I'd literally break open that lock (jailbreak) than wait for locksmith (Apple's iOS devs) to make a new "innovative" key (feature) which allows user to drag drop content to-and-from PCs after maybe 10-15 years.

Don't know why u keep saying only about Samsung, when LG, Sony, HTC too have similar high pricing for devices..
What's wrong with dropping prices after a period of time? Every company has has their own strategy. Motorola was selling moto g at a price which was low at launch time. But that price cant be justified now and can be called overpriced, Samsung's strategy is atleast better than this.
Samsung and apple made loads of money at the time coz there was simply no competition at the time and they were the best then out of the existing OEMs. Xiaomi, oneplus, Lenovo, Huawei, motorola have just emerged in last two yrs.
Even now if someone dint care abt money and wanted to get the best available would go for S6 or note 4.
S6/G4 still have huge demand. They are ripping off cos ppl, wilfully, are ready to get ripped off in exchange for the best.
Just tht there are other manufacturers now who are selling good stuff for less prices too, which was not the case earlier.

^^ No competition??? lol theres always competition ,how else would Nokia and Blackberry have such a steep decline to give way to samsung and apple??? they didnt magically become market leaders because there was no competition
S6 and Note 4 are overrated
I can see why people might buy an iphone,atleast it has something to offer- good apps,good build,status symbol,easy for older people(I still hate iphones personally)
