There is a brand new company, but rock solid product, get the Sens Einsteyn 1 if you can, introductory price is just a shade above 3K, but the smartwatch is easily worth twice that price

^that channel does not have many products in the entry level/budget category. Anyway, it seems to be focused on accuracy of data, but at that range, there are a bunch of other considerations such as app integration, comfort, durability, battery life and not looking like an Apple watch. And, even if you use all the best watches, there are disagreements in data, when it comes to blood oxygen levels, sleep cycle monitoring, heart rates and even steps. The more watches and bands you wear on your body, and funnel it through the same app, the more accurate your aggregate data is, if that is the one thing that you are so concerned about.
Like most sportsmen wear a band on either wrist, sometimes on both legs also. At times it can be watches on both wrists and bands on upper arms. Even drummers who want to track their speeds do that. Then even regular users use a convenience oriented, longer battery life watch for day use and a more comfortable and lightweight watch for sleep tracking. I get it, nothing wrong with being obsessive about collecting data points (that was the only thing that convinced me that smartwatches actually have some use, over dumb watches), but you cannot expect all that at this budget range, with one device.
Einsteyn 1 is durable, bright display, relatively manageable battery life of three days, great call quality, which is not a feature often seen in the range, and the company is selling it at a heavy discount as it is just entering the market. It is an easy recommendation right now.

Yes you are right about not having many budget options but there are some good ones. For example, honor band 6 has probably the best accuracy for less than 5-6k smart bands & I am interested in seeing if Einsteyn 1 has similar/close accuracy because Honor band 6 is now available for around 2k in big sale deal offers(it was around 3k last year).
None of them have accuracies comparable to clinical apparatus. Mostly in the under 5-6K range what can be expected is a secondary display for showing alerts, along with the timekeeping functions and a good battery life. There are always disagreements with the pedometer, but yeah, the Einsteyn 1 is comparable to bands from Honor and Mi, both of which are great products for the price range. In the under 5-6K category, a heart rate monitor and a blood oxygen counter severely increases the power consumption. In terms of features and capabilities, the Einsteyn 1 is comparable to the OnePlus Nord watch, which is twice the price.
TBH, it is better to go for a band if monitoring is the primary need. The idea of getting a Galaxy Watch riding on a smartphone purchase is a great option. The Honor and OnePlus devices are also very good. The Einsteyn 1 has a circular form factor, so it looks like an actual watch, is pretty rugged, and is available for 3.2 k, but is brand new and untested, like difficult to say how long it's battery will last... which is a critical piece of information missing from many of the best reviews for smartwatches.

I'd however like to drop in a suggestion about a personal favourite of mine for all others looking for a fitness watch (I refrain from using the word smartwatch because i feel they are a separate category of their own with bluetooth calling feature and not so good battery life hence.)
After using fitness bands like Mi Band 2 Mi Band 3, Realme watch.. i got the Amazfit GTS around 18 months back.. although Realme claimed to be a smartwatch, its software felt like a cheap device with a childish interface.
TLDR version: If you want fitness tracking watch with notification features, look no more than the Amazfit series. A grade built quality, software , battery life, VFM.
Long version: i think Amazfit has the software thing sorted out very well. The GTS watch is not a smartwatch as it doesnt support calling, but instead gives 14 days of battery life. Newer models like GTS 2e gives 24 days of battery. Its perfect for those whod like to just put the watch on and forget about it for at least a couple of weeks, while it counts their steps. tracks metrics like heart rate, sleep, spo2 etc Not having to take it off often for charging helps in tracking steps well, i have a target of 10,000 avg steps daily in this year 2022, if i had missed out charging any day a smartwatch which runs for 24-36 hours i might have to leave it dead at home or my hand and lose the tracking.
The Zepp app it pairs with has good integration with other apps such as Google Fit and Strava. I personally extensively use Strava for cycling and running and the in built GPS on the amazfit does a great job of tracking my runs/rides along with heart rate details. I dont need to carry my phone anymore on runs, i just have to open the Zepp app and it updates the activity on Strava.
Smartwatch you have to put their watch to charge every night and this is a big compromise for a feature like bluetooth calling, which i think is more of a novelty than a necessity. Simple notifications like incoming calls and messages and whatsapp/messenger texts are good enough (the call notification on the watch comes in handy especially while riding a bike) I though about grabbing the Galaxy Watch 4 this Big Billion day for 8999/- but then i realised i already have no issues with the GTS, do i really need to upgrade and give up weeks of battery life.
If anyone has a budget of 3-7k for fitness tracking features definitely go for the Amazfit series.
