Need new handset below 20k

2. Display type and size? 4.3-4.7...no 5 incher please

3. Form Factor? bar, slider, flip? bar

4. Preferred choice of brand? Sony , Samsung, HTC, LG ...any new enterent to consider??

5. Preferred input method (QWERTY, touchscreen, numpad, touch-n-type). Touchscreen

6. What camera option you want? Please specify need for flash, autofocus, front facing camera..autofocus needed, front facing needed.

7. Preferred operating system? (Android, Symbian, iOS, Windows Phone etc). Android

8. Preferred connectivity options (3G, Wifi etc)Please specify clearly. All :D NFC and LTE is bonus ;)

9. Preferred applications (Flash, Swype, GPS, etc)? need for showoff and keep up with current trend ...dont watch many video nor play many games..nor click many pics ...good sound is needed

10. Primary use of handset (multimedia, camera, mails, internet, gaming etc)? all things make up 20% of phone usage :) primary for calling and mails

11. Any specific mobile phones in consideration? Sony Xperia SP

12. Any other info that you want to share ....

I want a phone which should look stylish ...I am using my Omnia W from last 2 years...its very very good...SMOLED screen and gorilla glass ..its sleek and very durable...
I dont want a dull looking big mobile that wont fit my pocket vertically

BTW I can wait a bit if there is any chance of a better handset then Sony XSP in 1-2 months

Honestly, you should wait until 2014. I don't think it makes sense buying XSP now when its much improved 2014 successor will launch by end Q1 2014

I have no problem in waiting..but end of Q1 is 4 months away...thats soo long ....and I dont see any handsets better then Sony XSP under 20k ...and I have heard that Xperia c have better screen then 2013 other models...that means they are improving on the screen now ...
I have to say that viewing angle of SMOLED is too good

But SP screen is much inferior, so I don't know if you can adjust to it.

And yes, next year all XPERIA models will come with IPS screens. No screen complaints.

Xperia SP is easily the best handset in 20K range.

Xperia C uses mediatek CPU and overpriced. Lenovo P780 is the best handset under 20K if you consider Mediatek.

nexus 4 is stylish....I may consider it...but 22k is just above my mental boundry of handset max cost :D

i think nokia lumia 920 was available at around 20k. you can consider it if you can go with windows phone. It looks stylish ;-)

@rijinpk1 ....I am very happy with my omnia w...no issue of any kind...just that people consider me noob with WP handset...back in symbian days I was considered geek with Smartphone :D

omnia w and 920 are in different category ;-) 920 looks superior and windows phone 8 is looking better that WP 7 ones. it has superior camera but limited os functionalities :-( WP8 needs more maturity.

he he he dont try to sell a 920 to me ;) ... I really love my Omnia W ...its sleek sexy , have gorilla glass front and alumunium back ..an 3.7" SAMOLED screen ...I totally love it
But I want to try android too ...I have never used android much

I have decided to wait till jan now :(

ok, no problem. i was not trying to sell a 920. but remember that it launched for 34k(remember in chennai express :p) and now 20k is a good buy for the price. Since you already have a windows phone and decided to wait, get something better at that time :)

I am not even considering a moto right now...let them bring 3-4 more handsets in the market then will consider them a serious player again
