Need Info Regarding Power Consumption

Hi,

I've an old desktop pc running Ubuntu OS and I use it mainly to download overnight and leave the monitor switched OFF. By looking at the specs of my CPU can you tell me how much electricity it consumes?

Specs :
Intel Core 2 Duo E6300
NVIDIA 7300LE GPU
500GB 7200 RPM HDD
305W PSU
Bsnl Broadband Modem (Basic Siemens Model).

while my post does not give you the answer you are expecting, I can suggest you to also explore various websites that provide similar info about the PSU capacity / power consumption based on input parameters being components of the system. What I think is it's also important is to know the % Efficiency of your PSU that also needs to be factored in to find the actual input power drawn from the mains.

My hunch is ~110 - 115 watts. BTW, get yourself a raspberry .. you will save a lot more power.
