If your purpose is gaming(which seems obvious) then go for it. This will :machinegun: others away

Lenevo Y500 is a better choice. It'll barely cost a thousand or two over your budget. I don't hink you'll mind overspending 2% of your budget for something better. :)

The Np550p is for those who are under strict budget of 55-60k.

My friends told me resolution of lenovo
is better than samsung also shopkeeper of croma(a prominient computer store) advised to prefer samsung
I m a bit confused

Can't convince? Confuse..
If you talk about aftersales .. may be true... but i can assure you technical support from Lenovo is pathetic. I got my Y500 4 days back and panifully realized that mine was a piece from the troublesome touchpad slot. I called up the technical support and they send me a program which assist in auto-off of touchpad while typing ...duh..:shock:... My dealer was really nice to take up this issue himself with product manager and they ll be correcting the touchpad issue very soon.

@Sunny : You should be going with the forum experts' suggestion rather than the shop keeper's :-D .. Thats what I did :-D

shopkeepers told my parents and even relatives that quality differs.
dell is better than samsung and samsung is far better than lenovo
further touch pad problem in lenovo has made the matter worse.
My parents are willing to made me buy dell lappy prefrebly turbo edition
