Hi guys,

I am planning to upgrade by MoBo, Proccessor and RAM

My budget is around 10K
I plan to buy 4 GB DDR3 RAM at around 2K
The remaining 8k is for Processor and Mother Board
I was thinking of 5-6k for processor and the rest for MotherBoard. Would love to hear your suggestions.

Cheers :thumbs: :thumbs:

Thanks for the suggestions

I was thinking about the following config;

Phenom X4 945 = 6200
4 GB Dynet = 1800
M4N68T-M = 2500

total 10500/- Is this config viable? would the low end motherboard affect the overall performance.

Low cost motherboard will not have all solid capacitor if it is not from good company. Buy if it is from Asus and Gigabyte.

An amd x6 based config will be future proof for you. Go for amd 1055t @ 8k and pair it with ecs 885gm a2 @ 4.3k. The board is full atx and has solid state capacitors including 125 watt cpu support. Add 2gb ddr3 ram from corsair @ 1.2k as suggested by ssb1551.

Or go for sandybridge i5 2400 by upping your budget a bit. Its way more futureproof.

No don't buy low end boards from Asus!!A few boards members including myself have had really bad experience with these low-end Asus boards.The CPU retention bracket of my board came out & there was this another guy in my city whose board died of no god damn reasons.If you wanna go with Asus go for their high & mid-high end boards.But the ECS board is an ATX board with very good features except for the presence of USB3.
