Hello Everyone,

Can you please help me in figuring out the actual price ofthis desktop from HP.

OMEN by HP Desktop PC - 870-260in

It retails for 1,40,000.I just wanted to know as to how much I would be overpaying by buying this system.

I think this would be a good reference build at 1 L

i7-7700k : 25.5k
MSI Z270-A PRO: 10k
CORSAIR H100 I V2 (liquid cooling): 8.5k
Corsair 8GB DDR4 Vengeance LPX 2400Mhz x 2: 8.5k
2 TB HDD 7200rpm toshiba/seagate: 6k (WD Black: 9k)
120 GB SSD Sandisk Z410/ WD Green/ Kingston SSDNOW: 4-4.5k (amazon)
ZOTAC 1060 3GB: 16k
Asus DVD Writer: 1k
Seasonic S12II 520W: 5.5k (mdcomputers)
TP LINK PCI E WIFI(WN781ND): .7k
Corsair Carbide Series 270R: 4.9k (prime)

All are from CTC except where mentioned, so add 5% vat to them.

Approximately, this also comes down to 94k and I'm not sure why would you spend 140k for the same rig.

You could get much, much better config for the same price. Ditch i7-7700k for a 7600k or even upcoming R5 1600x (6C/12T proccy). Nobody buys a 3GB 1060, its either 4GB RX 470 or 6GB 1060 or even 8 GB RX 480 for that matter. As for the dvd writer, people still use it?

That 45k extra can get you a 4k monitor or the same rig with GTX 1070 + 1080p monitor or GTX 1080 only, assuming you replace the GTX 1060 in the last 2 cases. Keyboard, mouse, extra fans, led strips, Windows 10 license included in that amount as well.

Ok, Thanks !. I am assuming this is using the cheapest components in the market and there is a 3 year onsite warranty on the HP desktop. What about the warranty on these individual components ?

All have 3 years warranty except the GPU which has 2+3 years warranty and RAM which has 10 years warranty.
