Need HELP! Errors after installing new Graphic Card

I'm not sure whether to post this thread here or in the software section, but since it's presumably due to my new graphic card, I posted it here.

I bought an Asus nVidia GeForce GTX670 DirectCU II graphic card. I installed it in my friend's rig (as my PC isn't ready yet) to check if it's okay. He has Windows 8. Once I had it all set and running, I tried some benchmarks and the card performed quite nicely in all of them.

While playing games however, the system always crashed. I tried many games (eg. Battlefield 3, Crysis 3 etc.). These games were running fine before installing the card.

I installed the latest drivers from nVidia and removed the old drivers, but still the problem did not resolve.

The errors that I got while playing the games are-

1. Execute data in non executable memory
2. Driver irql not less or equal
3. Memory Management

Plz let me know what is causing these errors. Is it some driver issue, or something more serious? How can I fix this?
