need help about boot problem

Hi. .i had windows 7 ultimate installed. . .i installed win xp sp3 in a drive hoping to run both the os with seperate partitions. . .but after installing xp sp3,i cannot access windows 7. . .but it is installed. . .no boot screen appears which shows both the os from where i can select one. . .
i have all the games,softwares installed in win 7. . what should i do?
help out guys. .

try installing windows 7 again without formatting the drive. else there are other options like boot from linux live cd, copy game files to someother drive and then install a fresh copy of windows.

no. most likely the windows XP will be shifted to windows.old folder which you can remove.

simple solution.try edit boot.ini file in xp by Right click My Computer --> Properties --> Advanced System Settings --> Startup and Recovery select settings.or you can use windows 7 dvd to fix bootmgr or you can use easyBCD to add windows 7 entry to your boot menu.

Please tell in details about the easy bcd thing..i have heard about it..with it,can i use both os with their respective system files,games,softwares intact and working??
