Which hd 7970.. I seen lot of reviews and benchmarks of Asus HD 7970 Matrix Platinum card. It is a kickass GC.

Depends on the budget. See these
GPU Prices from Vedant.

If are going above 30K in GPU then it would be advisable to get a Multi-GPU setup if you can take the pain of optimization. If you want complete hassle free computing then Single GPU is the way to go. :)

I never questioned the cpu.
I just asked u to correct the typo :|

I know, I was being sarcastic. :p

Take whichever comes in your budget.
Sapphire 7970 is more vfm though. Asus 7970 is just awesome, but at a price.

Sapphire is good as the price is under 30K. If he has to go for a 36.5K card then why not a multi GPU setup then.

If OP wants a single GPU solution then Asus HD 7970 Matrix Platinum is the best choice as it is available at 32K including tax in Vedant COmputer, Kolkata. The link Anand has posted also having the Phone Number of Vedant. You can call them and mention that you got those prices for Digit forum and they will provide you shipping too.

At that rate the asus 7970 is a great deal.
It OCs nicely and can make up for the performance gap with the 7870 CF. I doubt the performance difference will be so obvious.
Hopefully later when the prices come down, purchase another and have a 7970 CF setup. That will last even longer.

rsannino`s 3DMark03 score: 214700 marks with a Radeon HD 7970

No it can't. Read a lot about it before deciding to go with Crossfire. Also 7970 CF is highly unlikely as I don't think OP will upgrade in some months or under a year.

No matter how much you overclock a 7970 normal or matrix platinum, it cannot make a dent to the performance of a 7870 cf.
There is no closing the gap here because its too wide. 7870 cf simply gives the ultimate gaming experience at same price.

I doubt people upgrade within a year. Probably after a year atleast

I didnt say the OC'd asus 7970 will beat the 7870 cf, but make up the gap(wrong choice of words up there).
My doubt was whether this gap is so obvious in the gameplay. For such a gap, I have read single card setups being recommended(except here ofcourse :p )

2x7870 vs 7970. Performance preset.
2x7870 vs 7970. Extreme preset
Did my best to match all other factors. Cant explain the results :|

On a side note, consider a time when an upgrade is required. In case of 7870 cf, both the cards have to be replaced while on the other hand, another 7970 (will be cheaper) can be added for a CF setup.

Is the Asus HD 7970 Matrix Platinum, the one called the 7970 ghz in the online reviews. What does GHZ mean? is it same as a OC'd card?

When after 2 years he would like to upgrade then Asus Matrix 7970 won't be available. In current scenario you have to wait for it, imagine after 2 years. Also at that time something better would be cheaper.

No Sapphire has a card having GHz edition in suffix. :)

1. Change the KB to Corsair Vengeance K60 or K90.
2. For GPU HD7970 would be a better choice.
3. If you are getting 2TB Green Edition then make sure that you also have a SSD.
4. For Mobo Asus Maximus V Gene would be better.
5. For GPU get Corsair TX750 if going for single GPU setup.

Thats all from me. :)

1. Both Corsair Vengeance K60 & K90 are well out of my budget.
2. Ya i will purchase HD7970 but im confused between the models.
3. I will buy SSD later (Year or 2)

What is the different between Micro ATX Form factor and ATX Form Factor Motherboards?

Check online at Prime ABGB, IT Depot ,SMC International and MD Computers for good prices.

Thnk You. I'll check those sites.

1. Check PrimeABGB they have killer prices for these Keyboards.
2. Again depends on the budget. Sapphire is also good and will keep your budget in check. If you can afford Asus Martix then go for it, like I said depends on the budget.
3. OK then go for a Black Edition 1 TB

Size is the difference. Micro ATX is smaller and ATX is bigger, E ATX is bigger than ATX. Because of size no. of ports, PCle slots will be reduced thats all. :)

Yeah thats what I told you. Anyway what type of games you play mostly, if you are a RPG gamer then only go for K90 or K60 is more than enough for you. K60 is more about FPS and other genres but for RPGs nothing beats K90. But don't waste on something you wouldn't use at all. :)

Depends on your confort level. I find Logitech mouse more comfortable. I'll give you options and you can choose from them.
1. Corsair Vengeance M60
2. Logitech G500
3. Logiyech G400
4. Razer DeathAdder

Is it worth to setup up raid config on hdd??

For performance yes. But for data no. I won't suggest to go raid, better to get a SSD.

And suggest me a cabby also...

Again subjective matter
1. CM 690 II Advanced
2. NZXT Phantom
3. Corsair 500
4. Antec 1100
5. CM 922 Advanced

And please post ur gaming rig here!!!

Just see the last page of my thread. :)

After the latest drivers 12.11 they have gained around 7-12% performance and so easily beats their respective Nvidia Counterparts. Also they are cheaper so better VFM, they have much higher DirectCompute.
As for Physx you can always add a another Low end Nvidia card which can act as a Physx card for you and your AMD card as your main GPU. :)
